Field Service Technician II plays a crucial role in maintaining and servicing IGT equipment at casino locations. In this position, you will respond to the Management team and Operations dispatch, traveling within your designated area to deliver IGT equipment and install, remove, or repair communication devices, ensuring seamless operations.
This position is remote, preferred cities within Michigan - New Berry, Sault St. Marie, St Ignace, Mackinaw.
Responsibilities:
• Transporting, installing (if applicable), and maintaining IGT equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner.
• Attend driver training and follow IGT vehicle policy regarding the use and maintenance of the company vehicle.
• Maintain equipment to promote continuous operation of IGT equipment.
• Troubleshoot to restore malfunctioning equipment to working order in the field. This may include swapping failed equipment, cleaning, and/or minor adjusting of the malfunctioning component.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with Management Team and Dispatchers. Accurately report activity, arrival and departure times and problems, details, and resolutions of failures to Dispatch.
• Complete basic forms for reporting activities, equipment problems, recommendations for improvements to procedures, etc.
• Ability to travel, willingness to work varied shifts and overtime as required.
• Set up game options and test various devices, e.g. bill acceptors Perform software and system integration verification tests for jackpots Test programs with various verification devices such as Kobetron and Chip Comparator Troubleshoot with input and output tests Test pay table, reel strip and bonus awards Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Document all services rendered using SAP, Cadence, and other software tools.
• Adapt to various jurisdictions and interface with compliance officers.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically requires multiple years of electronics or slot tech experience, as well as project or team lead experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of AC/DC fundamentals.
• Must be computer literate and have documented networking experience.
• Knowledge of tools and experience using the tools is required.
• Ability, flexibility, and willingness to work varied shifts, On call Rotation, overtime, and travel to client sites as needed. Flexibility of work location is a must. Potential for heavy travel (globally) on an as-needed basis could be required.
• Must have the ability to maintain a neat appearance, in adherence with IGT Uniform policy.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds and be able to stand a full shift.
• Able to work in adverse conditions for an extended period.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Work well under pressure, in a team environment, and with little direct supervision.
• Must be able to adapt to various jurisdictions and interface with compliance officers.
• Ability to obtain a gaming license in multiple jurisdictions globally.
• Must have a valid State’s driver’s license with clean driving record and a valid current passport.
