Job Description

Client Operations: 

Our Client Operations team are central to what we do here at MUFG Investor Services. It is an integral component in the provision of administration and reporting services to our clients. We’ve a team of 40 in Private Equity and Real Assets in Dublin, partnering with our clients who have a true global footprint.  We’ve an opportunity to join this team as an Junior Associate Director, Client Operations.  

Key Responsibilities include:   

Reporting to our Associate Director, Client Operations, you’ll be one of our dedicated client relationship managers responsible for day-to-day queries. This is a varied role and will include preparing/reviewing reconciliations of cash, positions, and accruals of client funds managed within the team.  Alongside this the preparation and review of pricing of portfolios ensuring all holdings are priced observing the applicable fund documents and valuation policies. We’ll also look for you to assist in preparation of audited financial statements, annual audit and other regulatory services, as applicable. There will be other ad hoc client requests and project involvement where necessary. Communication is crucial and sharing of headlines with our internal MUFG teams and external clients, ensuring all deliverables and requests are met including SOC1 and internal audit request.

Qualifications

To ensure success in the role ideally you’ll be able to demonstrable experience working at a similar level or working towards in Private Equity and Real Asset funds.  Knowledge of funds, private debt, fund structures across multiple jurisdictions, fee calculations/waterfalls, equalization, trading strategies, financial instruments and fund offering documentation is beneficial.   

Third level qualification (minimum 2.2 degree), qualified or part qualified accountant or other relevant qualification essential.   Working knowledge of Investran, Yardi or Geneva a plus but can be learned.
