Material Handler - Inventory Control

Pay:
FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $20 - $22 per hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity. 
 

 

 

Your areas of responsibility:

• Work with area managers on replenishment of all needed materials
• Maintain Kanban inventory levels of raw materials and packaging materials/components to support production
• Receive all materials transferred from warehouse and locate in assigned bin locations
• Maintain inventory quantities, re-order and receive truckload quantities of pallets, pails, drums, and totes 
• Complete all daily cycle counts
• Receive all UPS and Fed Ex deliveries into the GP inventory system and distribute accordingly.
• Locate material and supplies verifying lots and weights according to the manufacturing order.
• Operation of material handling equipment
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.

 

Qualifications we are looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Basic reading, writing and computer skills required
• Analytical & Mathematic skills
• Some heavy lifting (up to 75-lbs.) may be required
• Eight hours of walking/standing/sitting
• Pushing/Pulling/Moving of raw material containers and production equipment
