About the Position:

Here at the Oklahoma Forensic Center the Nursing department is hiring for Registered Nurses that would provide direct care for consumers of behavioral health treatment in an inpatient setting. Duties would include providing professional nursing services to include but not limited to: nursing assessments, planning, interventions, health related education, case management and administering medications and treatments prescribed by a person authorized to prescribe by state law.

Job Type/Salary:

Full-time
Hourly payrate: Level III- $36.77/hr, Level II- $34.85/hr, Level I- $33.65/hr
$3:00/hr shift differentials when working evening, nights, weekends or holidays.
Primary Working Hours are: 6:30am-3:00 pm; 2:30pm-11:00pm and 10:45pm-6:45am
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Primary Work Location/Department: Oklahoma Forensic Center/Nursing

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

(Level 3)- Bachelor’s in Nursing and possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) and one year of professional nursing experience OR associate in Nursing and two years of professional nursing experience OR Associate in Nursing and three years of LPN experience in psychiatric nursing. (Level II)- Bachelor’s in Nursing and possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) OR Associate in Nursing and one year of professional nursing experience OR Associate in Nursing and two years of LPN experience in psychiatric nursing. (Level I)- Associate in Nursing and possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). Note: If the applicant has an out of state license with eNLC, he/she cannot be in a position that bills.
