Position Overview
As a Community Outreach Assistant, you will represent nonprofit partners and client organizations at events, community activations, and outreach programs. You’ll engage directly with the public, promote campaigns, support fundraising efforts, and help create positive experiences for event participants. No experience is required—we provide paid, hands-on training and ongoing coaching.
Key Responsibilities
Connect with community members and event attendees to provide information about campaigns and programs
Represent client brands and nonprofit partners with professionalism and energy
Assist with event setup, booth displays, and outreach materials
Support fundraising and volunteer sign-up initiatives
Track engagement and provide feedback to team leaders
Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth operations at events
Maintain an approachable, enthusiastic, and professional presence at all times
Qualifications
Outgoing, personable, and confident speaking with the public
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Dependable, coachable, and motivated to learn
Comfortable working in fast-paced, in-person environments
Ability to work a flexible schedule and start immediately
No prior experience required—training provided
