THE ROLEReporting to the Sr. Director, Brand, and Partnerships, the Production Associate Manager supports the end-to-end creation process of Stadium Goods branded apparel. More specifically, this role is responsible for all product development and production of our in-house line. The Associate Manager ensures all programs meet the needs of the Brand while maintaining design, quality, margin, manufacturability, and on-time delivery. The right candidate is eager to build the business with an entrepreneurial spirit and a keen eye for detail.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You will build a company production calendar by collecting time and action information from internal stakeholders and external vendors; ensure company adherence to milestones and communicate updates with frequency  
  • You will manage relationships with the existing factory base and negotiate costing, capacity, timelines, etc.; source new suppliers as needed to fulfill product needs for the business
  • You will own the product development process by liaising with design, merchandising, and suppliers on sampling and costing; scheduling meetings, organizing the structure and technical files, and obtaining approvals
  • You will perform comprehensive sample maintenance overseeing sample due dates, and approvals and ensuring on-time delivery of production samples by monitoring Time and Action Calendars
  • You will use technical knowledge to guide product decision-making to achieve margins and delivery dates while balancing design intent; troubleshoot issues with factories as needed
  • You will monitor vendor work-in-process and shipping exception reporting with cross-functional teams; build and maintain reporting and logs for tracking
  • You will enforce production standards and execute quality control initiatives, including QA analysis and solutions
  • You will partner with finance, commercial, and ops on PO management, payment processing, and receipt of goods into DC (i.e. customs classification, packing requirements, etc.)
  • You will liaise with logistics teams to provide shipping documents, TOP (Top of Production) approvals, and vendor shipping confirmation for prompt delivery and receiving
  • You will create materials to support Stadium Goods apparel sales from market week line sheets to store product knowledge

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have 3 to 5 years of product development and/or production management experience for private-label apparel
  • You have technical knowledge and sensibility for apparel, especially graphics and print
  • You have a strong knowledge of manufacturing, including construction, compliance, Lab testing
  • You have superior organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail-oriented

NYC WAGE TRANSPARENCY LAW

  • The pay range for this position at the commencement of employment is expected to be between $65,000 and $75,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
  • If hired, the employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
