If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.
We are currently seeking a Sr. Audio Mechanical Engineer. This position requires an experienced professional with a Proven track record as an ME for a World Class Audio System. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
The Role:
•Collaborate with the product design team, Audio System Architects to create aesthetically pleasing and functional audio product designs. Ensure that mechanical aspects align with the product's audio performance and user experience goals.
•Design, develop, and refine mechanical components and enclosures for audio devices. Utilize CAD software to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings, considering manufacturability and assembly processes.
•Select appropriate materials for various product components, considering factors like durability, weight, acoustic properties, and cost-effectiveness.
•Develop and oversee the creation of prototypes and conduct tests to assess the mechanical and acoustic performance of products. Identify and address issues and refinements in the design.
•Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure that product designs can be efficiently and cost-effectively produced at scale.
•Consider automotive body structures, NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness), sealing, stiffness, resonances, natural frequencies, and other factors to ensure optimal acoustic performance.
•Establish and implement quality control processes to ensure that all products meet the desired specifications and performance standards.
•Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of mechanical components and product assemblies to ensure they meet or exceed performance, durability, and safety standards.
