ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and expedite purchase orders to acquire materials related to Production Ticket.
- Update ERP Label Traxx system for production tickets with stock, ink, and tooling delivery dates.
- Review order confirmations for accuracy and update purchase orders, as well as Label Traxx Tickets.
- Track and communicate purchase order delays to scheduling and customer service.
- Create purchase orders for outsourcing orders and track and update tickets with delivery dates.
- Review the schedule daily to ensure tooling, inks, and stock arrive on time, and email scheduling and customer service with stock delay issues.
- Maintain daily and monthly open purchase order reports.
- Reduce roll stock inventory.
- Collaborate with the production team to run tickets more efficiently.
- Run requirement reports; analyze history to determine ordering requirements.
- Assist with setting up new part numbers and suppliers and maintaining the purchasing database for accuracy, including price and part number changes and changes in vendor/supplier information.
- Work with vendors to purchase repair or replacement parts.
- Work with the warehouse staff to ensure transfers are coordinated and shipped out promptly to meet branch requirements.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Bachelor's degree or experience in supply chain management (preferred)
- Computer proficiency, particularly with spreadsheet programs
- Organizational skills
- Time management skills
