About the Role:
Since launching, Ramp has experienced exponential organic growth. The Accounting Channel has shown that accounting firms are proving to be a strong growth contributor. As the Channel Success Manager for Accounting Partnerships, you’ll have the opportunity to be an early member of the Accounting Partner Channel team at Ramp. You’ll drive our growth strategy via deepening relationships with existing accounting partners and guiding them through a defined partner journey with Ramp. This will include setting up a regular meeting cadence, doing deeper discovery, further qualifying, and “activating” accounting firms who have already partnered with Ramp. You will manage relationships with top accounting firms, startup accounting firms, traditional CPA firms, and outsourced and fractional CFOs, taking them on a journey to become top producing partners.
You will work to more deeply embed Ramp within the accounting industry - specifically Accountants in Practice who are serving portfolios of clients. You will help grow a community of accountants around Ramp, identify Ramp evangelists and power users, and you will be the internal voice for our accounting partners. In partnership with Ramp’s Sales team, you will drive critical pieces of our partnership strategy and execution by working the accounting vertical and working in lock-step with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to deliver on ambitious growth goals.
What You'll Do
Drive the growth strategy via accounting partners and continue iterating on the accounting vertical playbook to deliver on ambitious accounting growth goals
Experience managing, activating, and growing a book of 100+ Accounting firm partners
Experience generating double digit consistent month over month revenue
Strategize with Sales to activate accounting partners
Partner with Marketing to develop robust co-marketing campaign strategies
Collaborate with Product and Engineering on roadmap development to drive partner growth and engagement
Identify and develop new offerings to collaborate with our partners to drive industry leadership and new business opportunities
Facilitate partner payouts
Monitor and track growth metrics for the accounting vertical
Engage partners via product updates & QBRs (for high-priority partners), amplify Ramp’s brand, and position Ramp as thought leader via webinars, co-marketing, and industry events
Leverage your accounting network to more deeply embed Ramp within the industry
Leverage accounting/CFO communities and forums as distribution channels
Attend key industry events to represent Ramp and build relationships with Accountants
Experience driving consistent month over month client referrals from existing Accounting partners
What You'll Need
Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Partnership Management, or Channel Partnerships
Experience working with accounting firms in a consulting, sales, or partnerships capacity
Experience executing the sell-through motion
Clear communication, responsiveness, structured thinking, organization and project management skills
