Job Summary:

Under the hands-on mentorship of skilled Cold-heading and Thread-rolling operators, the Apprentice will learn all aspects of fastener manufacturing as it relates to heading, thread rolling, or tool making. Apprentices will learn to set-up and operate machines safely, check and record quality, maintain a clean and organized work area, and support the team as required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate Assigned Equipment: Gain hands-on experience operating specialized machinery used in metal fastener manufacturing.
2. Setup New Work Orders
3. Troubleshoot Equipment Issues
4. Achieve High Production Efficiency
5. Maintain High Product Quality
6. Minimize Tool Usage
7. Maintain Low Levels of Scrap
8. Proper Housekeeping (5S)
9. Follow Procedures and Work Instructions
10. Collaborate Effectively

Qualifications:

• No prior experience required; we welcome candidates with a passion for learning and a strong work ethic.
• Mechanical aptitude, preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
