About the role

Performs a variety of patient centered administrative tasks to support the Social Work team in the Care Management Department. Will work under their direction to support patients and families with their specific discharge plan and plan of care.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent educ/experience
  • Coursework/Training: Medical terminology.    
  • Demonstrated work experience with patients and families.
  • Work experience, preferably in health care setting, providing customer service and administrative support to professionals.
  • Experience working with insurance payers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Health care training.
  • Coursework/Training: Educational courses in healthcare.
  • MS Office Certification upon hire.
  • MS Word and Excel software programs.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
