The Safety Manager plays a key role in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures that help reduce risk and keep employees safe from harm in the workplace. The Safety Manager will provide training and guidance for workers and ensure that jobsites are following the Titan Electric Companies Safety Health Program, customers and general contractor’s safety programs, and OSHA regulations.  
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Safety Manager primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Report directly to the Director of Safety regarding all aspects of safety and health on jobsites. • Liaison for the customer, general contractor, and the Titan Electric Companies site specific management team regarding site specific safety and health programs, procedures, and processes. • Leading and participating in frequent inspections of the job site. • Observing work processes and procedures while engaging employees, correcting safety deficiencies, and coaching. • Leading and facilitating safety training and evaluation at the site-specific level.
PERFORM MONTHLY SAFETY AUDITS: ❖ Fall Protection Inspection ❖ Assured Grounding Inspection ❖ Temporary Power GFCI I Inspection ❖ ARC Flash PPE Inspection• Presenting weekly toolbox topics relevant to jobsite activities. • Conducting site specific new hire orientation. • Leading and facilitating Accident/Incident Investigations, collecting, and maintaining required documentation. 
REQUIRED EDUCATION & TRAINING • OSHA 30 • First AID/ CPR • NFPA 70 E • OSHA 510
PREFERRED EDUCATION & TRAINING • CHST • STSC (Or Both)
WORK EXPERIENCE • 5 YEARS COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION BASIC SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS • Leadership skills • Ability to adapt to change • Public speaking • Ability to teach others • Good verbal and written communication skills • Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities • Proficient with computers, phones, and other office equipment • Willingness to learn, receive training, and pursue professional development
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS  • Experience managing multiple jobsites • Basic Knowledge of Injury case management • Knowledge of State & Local Codes, CFR 29 1926 & NFPA 70E • Basic knowledge of safety management system structure, safety policies, procedures, and requirements
