As an Operating Department Leader you will:
Lead the organization of the technologies under its responsibility to ensure PQCDSM results following DMS (RTT) and P&G Systems, with the aim of eliminating losses and defects which prevent or disrupt line leaders from delivering their results. Responsible for developing the training of the team according to the principles of IWS and aligned with our PVPs.
The Iowa City Plant Operations has undergone an exciting transformation and has been designated as the Innovation Center for NA Beauty Care. The site is playing a critical role in delivering the high-paced innovation needed to win in Beauty. This role will be responsible for traditional Safety, Quality, and Operations Excellence metrics as well as establishing best-in-class Technical Readiness. This role will be directly responsible for a large organization of technicians and Band 1 managers - and developing a culture which will deliver the CBN.
Job Qualifications
Required:
BS or MS in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing Technologies, or Business Degree
3-5 years experience with managing and developing capability in a team setting
3-5 years experience with working in a manufacturing or operations setting
Desired:
Lean Manufacturing experience
Packing Technologies experience preferred
Demonstration leading people in a 24/7 operation
Experience driving process improvements and loss elimination
Experience developing a winning team culture, including people motivation and accountability
Strong foundations in Safety, Quality, and Internal Controls
