INTERNSHIP - Human Resources

Wholly owned by the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin, Oneida ESC Group (OESC) is a holding company that provides a consistent, cost-effective common management platform supporting our family of companies united under common ownership.

Oneida ESC Group has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Intern in Milwaukee, WI on a part-time basis (20 hours/week). This is a fully in-person position. As an intern on the Human Resources team, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a wide range of human resource functions while working to advance our organization’s practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaboration across the HR team to meet project goals.
• Managing databases and personnel files, including organizing, both physical and electronic formats.
• Assist with job postings, candidate review, and onboarding of new employees.
• Updating job descriptions as required.
• Pulled basic HR reports for managers.
• Maintaining roster with current company information.
• Identify gaps, risks, and areas of opportunity for the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• The applicant must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s, graduate-level, or have recently completed a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
• Availability to work 20 hours per week during the work week.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality related to critical and sensitive information, records, and reports.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products.
• Possess an ability to work independently and as a team.
• Willingness and enthusiasm to take on tasks and projects as needed

Compensation Range:

• $18/HR
