As our next Vice President of Business Development, you’ll play a pivotal role in growing our impact by cultivating strategic partnerships, securing new business, and building relationships that last.

If you're a consultative sales leader with deep PBM industry experience and a passion for helping employers take control of their pharmacy benefit spend—this is your chance to make a meaningful difference.

This position is remote with expectations of in-office attendance as needed for meetings and trainings.

What You’ll Do

• Lead strategic efforts to build and close new business in your assigned territory and hit or exceed sales goals.
• Manage a large territory with a tactical, data-driven approach to outreach and closing.
• Deliver persuasive presentations to prospects, benefit consultants, and strategic partners, making the case for why True Rx should be their top priority.
• Represent True Rx at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to boost our visibility and thought leadership.
• Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
• Act as a liaison between True Rx and HR teams with client organizations to ensure a smooth transition and onboarding experience.
• Partner with leadership to shape advertising, networking, and relationship-building strategies.
• Mentor fellow business development team members and contribute to team success.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4–10+ years in a related field).
• PBM sales experience is required—you know the space, the players, and how to win.
• Proven experience selling directly to employer-sponsored health plans or through trusted referral sources.
• Strong presentation, communication, and consultative selling skills.
• A results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and manage time and territory effectively.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to build and maintain your assigned territory.
