Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Sr. Manager, Crisis Mgmt/Comms located in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Raynham, Massachusetts, or West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. The Senior Manager, Crisis Management & Communications is responsible for global crisis readiness, structured response, and strategic communications across real estate, facilities, and capital project operations. This role ensures that DPS can respond decisively, transparently, and consistently to disruptive events impacting people, sites, infrastructure, or major projects. This role plays a critical leadership role in protecting DePuy Synthes reputation by leading crisis preparedness, response, and communications strategies, with high visibility and direct impact on trust, credibility, and business continuity.

This position serves as the enterprise owner for crisis management frameworks and operational communications within Business Operations & Project Delivery, partnering closely with FM, EHS, Security, Legal, and Corporate Communications.

• Functional scope: Crisis management, change communications, emergency escalation 

• Geographic reach: Worldwide 

• Authority: Global crisis and communications frameworks; execution via regional and site teams

Crisis Management Frameworks 

• Define and maintain global crisis management playbooks, escalation protocols, and governance structures  

• Ensure alignment with enterprise crisis management, business continuity, and security protocols. 

• Clarify roles, decision rights, and escalation paths during incidents.
