Equipment Specialist, 1st Shift

The primary objective of the Moulding Technician role is to ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and calibration of production equipment. This includes equipment programming, setup, process troubleshooting and monitoring, while ensuring compliance with ResMed’s quality, WSH, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
Let’s talk about Responsibilities
- Equipment Setup: Conduct the necessary equipment and tooling setup to meet production requirements, including verification through testing and measurement to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Perform process or equipment troubleshooting and assist the engineering team with validation activities to resolve any operational issues.
- Documentation & Compliance: Accurately document and record all maintenance and calibration activities as required for production equipment, ensuring full compliance with operational standards.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to standard maintenance and operating procedures, GMP, 5S practices, and Health and Safety policies to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by adapting existing maintenance methods and schedules to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Cross-functional Support: Support other departments in ensuring that new projects and equipment are delivered, installed, and maintained on time and to the highest standard.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Provide technical training, mentoring, and guidance to junior technicians and Production team members.
- Other Tasks: Perform any other tasks or duties as required to support the team and operations.

Required (Qualifications/experiences that are an absolute must for the position)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to change and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Solid understanding of computer systems, including knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, both as part of a team and independently.
- Proactive self-management with a commitment to completing work to the highest standards, on time and within budget.
- Flexibility to work within a varied schedule (Ability to work in shifts), depending on production needs.
- Discipline and safety mindset
- Ability to follow standard work
Preferred (Qualifications/experiences that are preferred for the position)
- Diploma , ITE or Certificate related to Mechanical or Electrical field
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Experience in injection moulding process
- Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems and devices, with the ability to read and interpret electromechanical drawings.
- Experience in performing maintenance and calibration activities on equipment, ensuring equipment is always in optimal working condition
