MCHC is looking for a caring, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our collaborative primary care team. In this role, you’ll support providers in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment. What You’ll Do:
- Conduct rooming of patients, including vitals, assessments, screenings, and medical histories
- Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments within the MA scope of practice
- Administer medications and vaccines per provider orders
- Document accurately and efficiently in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Maintain clinical areas, ensure proper stocking, and adhere to infection control standards
- Provide clear patient education and support as directed by the providers
- Occasionally travel to support other MCHC sites as needed

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- At least one year of experience in a clinical setting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
