The Job

As an Operations and Facility Associate, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor Customer Experience and Innovation Center (CXIC) team located onsite in Towson, MD. You will have the responsibility of maintaining the back of the house and working along with the Lead Presenter on showcasing our products at the Customer Experience and Innovation Center. A team mindset, collaboration, and willingness to take direction are key attributes required for this position. This role includes facility support and organization including meeting set-up and breakdown, safety. You’ll also get to:

  • Partner closely with product managers and trainers to ensure the appropriate decisions are made around product displays we are highlighting and customer demos.

  • Work with contracting organizations to set up displays while partnering with the Product Managers to ensure the most up-to-date content is utilized.

  • Collaborate with the lead presenter on the development of a playbook to guide the stakeholders in choosing demos/displays.

  • Serve as the EHS Safety Training Lead- which includes maintaining exit strategy, AED Kits, and First Aid Certified.

  • Ensure that all the required materials needed for demos and displays are present ahead of customer meetings.

  • Procure updated equipment and participate in the design and building of displays.

  • Work closely with the lead presenter who provides content directly to the customers with demo room presentations and hands-on activities where needed, including safety and PPE.

  • Be present while customers are in the building to assist with demos and ensure a smooth experience/troubleshooting as needed.

  • Liaise with local SBD maintenance staff to ensure facilities management is handled appropriately.

  • Keep up to date on NPD roadmap products.

  • Organize and maintain the CXIC storage area which will include tool, product, and material inventory.

  • Work with lead presenter and coordinate set up and breakdown of all displays and demos.

The Person

  • Highschool Diploma. Undergraduate Degree preferred.

  • 1 + years of hands-on tolling experience.

  • Application knowledge to design and build displays.

  • Time Management skills.

  • Customer and Leader-facing experience.

  • Comfortable with using Forklift or scissor lift equipment (certification will be provided)

  • 1+ years SBD and Product Business Acumen (Internal Candidates)
