Outpatient Allergy
Shift/Hours: Days/ 24 hours/week
Salary determined based on years of nursing experience.
Our Division of Allergy and Immunology is working to find new and innovative ways to help children manage asthma, allergic reactions and more. Our specialized Allergy Clinic treats patients with allergic conditions, such as documented or suspected food allergies, infant formula intolerance, asthma, atopic dermatitis (aka eczema), allergic rhinitis, latex allergy, drug allergy, and insect sting sensitivity. Our mission is to improve the health of children with allergic and immune conditions through innovative research, outstanding clinical care, and education of the current and next generation of leaders in healthcare and research.
Seeking
• Experienced RN (2 yrs or more)
• Experience with higher acuity/emergency management skills (ICU or acute care experience)
• Flexible/Open to traveling to locations throughout the area and open to occasional midday travel when needed (Burnet, Eastgate, Crestview Hills, Union, Liberty, Mason, Green)
• Comfortable working with multiple providers
• Ambitious/Looking for growth and ways to get involved (experience with committee involvement/leadership roles, RNII or RNIII)
• Team player/takes initiative/positive attitude
• Open to component of office work; Experience with foundational level of care coordination
• Equipped to learn new technology

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Interprofessional Practice - Demonstrates consistent integration of the Interprofessional Practice Model (IPM) in all aspects of practice.
Clinical judgment when performing caring practices - Synthesizes and interprets multiple sources of data; uses past experiences to anticipate problems; seeks interprofessional collaboration; recognizes and responds to complex situations. Leads efforts to improve documentation of the plan of care, care delivered, and outcomes of care.
