QC Lab Technician I

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Quality Control Director, the Quality Control Lab Technician will support the department.

Essential Job Functions

• Complete analysis of finished products from all co-packers. Juices, energy drinks, etc.
• Product testing includes visual assessment, flavor and taste testing. Testing also includes physical measuring of the following product attributes: Brix, acid, ph, color, clarity, CO2.
• Accurately record results into excel spreadsheets.
• Ability to maintain a neat, clean and organized work area.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma is required
• Basic math skills
• Basic calculator skills
• Ability to focus and attention to detail
• Be able to operate basic lab equipment; Refractometer, PH Meter, Digital Buret, Zahm & Nagel CO2 equipment, Spectrophotometer, Turbidimeter
• Experience in juice manufacturing – laboratory preferred
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Must be a team player and willing to assist other team members
• Good communicator – not afraid to ask questions, follow up and problem solve
• Good documentation skills
• Self-directed and motivated.

Pay Range: $1.00 - $24.00
