PLUS Communications is looking for a Senior Financial Planning Analyst “FP&A” to play an important role in providing financial insights and projections to maintain optimal financial health. They will prepare accurate monthly financial reports and forward looking projections, assist in the preparation of presentations that provide thoughtful analysis, identify drivers and action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made.

Key Requirements for this Position will Include:

  • Provide FP&A finance support to key business stakeholders, the CFO, and the President highlighting business metrics, productivity, demand planning, monthly results reporting
  • Primary driver of the monthly Rolling Forecast and Annual Budget
  • Partner directly with the finance team and collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews
  • Hands-on analysis into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights
  • Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made
  • Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
  • Serve as a liaison for the Finance team with Partners and Key Stakeholders, including executive presentations, Q&A support, and ad hoc analysis, including review of Client and Lines of Business Profitability
  • Recommend and implement updates to financial policies, procedures, and practices

Requirements

This job may be for you, if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial and operational principles
  • Experience developing financial reports and metrics
  • In depth understanding of an Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and ability to model forward looking projections for each
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Sage Intacct, PeopleSoft, Oracle, and PowerBI experience recommended
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication
  • Curiosity and hard work ethic
