Job Description

Industry Vertical ProductsTeam:
Work with a talented group of developers building out next generation technologies on the ServiceNow cloud platform. This team is responsible for building & architecting innovative Industry Vertical Products on the ServiceNow platform used by many Fortune 500 companies.

Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of engineers in designing, developing, and supporting our revolutionary Industry Vertical products. This role will require you to interface with various teams (technical and business), understand their business needs and deliver highly reliable and easy to use solutions that enhance business efficiency. The successful candidate will have an established background in designing scalable applications and developing mission critical software solutions with a strong technical ability, excellent project management and communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment. 

You will have the opportunity to lead and work on exciting technologies such as mobile, UI componentry, predictive intelligence, workflow & automation, and developer tools & IDE.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

• 8+ years working in a comparable software development role and 2+ years managing a team of developers.
• Passion for software development and problem solving
• High energy, self-motivated and initiative to drive projects to success
• Ability to lead the team and making progress even in ambiguity building on team’s strengths
• Highly focused on quality and establish highest standards
• Great communication skills as well as listening skills
• Experience in coding efficient, object-oriented, modularized and quality software
• Expertise in leading projects that included front-end design and JavaScript libraries such as AngularJS, Bootstrap, and jQuery
• Expertise with Java, OOP, and Design Patterns
• Knowledge of AJAX, JSON, HTML, XML, CSS, SOAP, REST and associated frameworks
• Knowledge in ServiceNow application development is desirable.
• Takes ownership on design and coaches the engineering team by establishing best practices by means of constant research in evolving product and platform technologies.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
