About This Role
The Senior Manager, HCP Marketing- Rare Disease, Friedreich Ataxia (FA) position offers an extraordinary opportunity to join a growing and evolving rare disease franchise in a therapeutic area with high unmet needs (Friedreich Ataxia). The Senior Manager will join the FA launch marketing team and will be responsible for building and leading HCP engagement activities, including congress and peer to peer strategy.
This position is responsible for establishing strategic direction through analysis of insights to drive key strategic choices for the FA business. More specifically, this position will focus on peer-to-peer strategy across channels, disease education activities, KME engagement and management, and congress strategy and execution. The ideal candidate would have an expertise in developing compelling HCP messaging, have a bold vision of how to execute educational activities across digital channels, and is forward thinking about the future of congresses and HCP interactions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead HCP congress strategy and marketing initiatives in close collaboration with other key functional partners including but not limited to TLLs, medical, meetings and events, and global teams
- Ensure specific HCP initiatives including marketing programs and campaigns are executed effectively, efficiently, within budget and in accordance with all regulatory/legal requirements
- Cultivate strong relationships with field force, cross-functional partners, and marketing agencies
- Manage materials, projects, and resources through the internal review committee process (Promotional Review Committee)
- Manage multiple agency partners including management of associated budgets
- Lead development of peer to peer marketing initiatives including, but not limited to, Medical Expert videos, symposium content development and management, national webinar/broadcasts
- Lead and manage HCP non-personal promotion, partnering closely with omnichannel support teams to deploy highly effective digital campaigns to drive SOV
- Partner with medical and the customer market insights teams to lead and manage HCP advisory boards gaining valuable and actionable insights for the brand

*This is a hybrid role based out of Cambridge, MA requiring 3 days onsite
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- 5+ years pharma and/or biotech commercial experience; minimum 2 years marketing
- Excellent communication/coordination/interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively write and deliver presentations to senior management and customers.
- Ability to think innovatively in terms of engaging with customers and meeting their needs.
- Previous congress and/or peer-to-peer responsibilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience within rare disease
- Field Sales experience a plus
Additional Information
The base salary range for this position is $144,000 – $193,000. Base salary offered is determined though an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location,
and internal equity.
Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term
