Administrative Intern

The Administrative Intern builds a broad range of healthcare management, administrative, and leadership skills through project work, committee participation, and work assignments. At the direction of the senior leadership team, the Administrative Intern partners with leadership throughout the HealthPartners Valley Hospitals to assist in obtaining operational goals, undertaking, coordinating and completing assigned projects, fostering relationships and preparing reports and summaries of activities for the senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participates in projects designed to reinforce industry specific issues related to the degree as well as the needs of the Hospital.
- Participates in a variety of administrative, operational, medical and senior management meetings.
- Participates in performance improvement activities.
- Seeks professional development feedback from administrators, preceptors, mentors and other colleagues
Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, Day-time hours. This position will travel to other locations in western Wisconsin and Twin Cities metro.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and participant in accredited master’s degree program in health care administration, health services administration, business administration, public health, or related field
