Overview:

• We are looking to fulfill our need for a Manufacturing Mechanic Assistant at our Teterboro, NJ facility.
• Full-time position: Hours 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (Monday – Friday). Overtime as needed and approved.
• Applicants from NJ with their own reliable transportation preferred.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

• Responsible for learning the general maintenance and repair for all machinery, production equipment (such as CNC machines, LiSEC (automated, insulated, glass line), etc.) and the building.
• Familiar with electric, hydraulic, pneumatics, plumbing, etc.
• Understanding of standard and low voltage controls.
• Previous experience with milling and/or lathe machines a plus.
• Knowledgeable and comfortable using various hand tools.
• Must be hands-on, a hard worker and a self-starter with great attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized working environment.
• Comfortable working in a diverse environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or technical school degree preferred
• 2+ years' experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Must have a mechanical background
• Fluent in English with strong oral communication skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• The ability to lift 75+ lbs.
