We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in patient care, assisting providers and ensuring a smooth, efficient experience for every patient.
Position Details:Schedule: 2–3 weekday shifts (8 hours per shift)Team Structure: Work primarily with one providerEnvironment: Fast-paced, busy clinic—ideal for someone who thrives in an energetic settingFlexibility: Looking for a team player willing to step in where needed
Selected Responsibilities:
- Escort patients to and from exam/treatment rooms
- Triage patients as necessary
- Administer vaccines and injections
- Record patient data prior to the physician’s visit
- Assist physicians with exams and a wide variety of procedures
- Administer medications
- Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as needed
- Maintain proper disinfection protocols
- Complete prior authorizations for medications and diagnostic imaging
- Phone in prescriptions and distribute proper medications as ordered by the provider
Preferred candidates have one of the following certifications: CMA, CCMA, RMA, or EMT, along with at least one year of Medical Assistant experience.
