Job Description
While this is a remote role, the position requires 50–100% travel within the local Gainesville area
Elavon is seeking a Regional Account Executive who will develop profitable, new business account relationships through merchant services and creates increased profitability from existing accounts.
As an FI‑aligned Account Executive, you will act as an extension of our partner institutions—representing Elavon in the field, strengthening referral pipelines, and delivering a high‑touch client experience.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with assigned Financial Institution partners to drive consistent merchant referrals
- Develop profitable new merchant services relationships while expanding value within existing client accounts
- Leverage deep knowledge of local markets, client needs, and Elavon’s products and services to identify new business opportunities
- Conduct in‑person and virtual sales presentations that clearly articulate the value of Elavon’s payment solutions
- Implement and sustain an effective referral strategy and call program in partnership with FI stakeholders
- Track pipeline activity, referrals, and performance using Salesforce to ensure visibility and accurate forecasting
- Represent Elavon professionally within the local market as a trusted payments advisor
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Two to three years of relevant sales experience (B2B or relationship‑based sales preferred)
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned local market
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience working with referral‑based sales models or partner‑driven business development
- Foundational knowledge of product marketing, client service practices, and organizational operations
- Strong relationship‑building, sales, and negotiation skills
- Ability to creatively resolve client concerns while maintaining strong partner relationships
- Solid problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Salesforce
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Multilingual capabilities are a plus
