Job Description

Operate heavy equipment including front end loaders, excavators, and dozers in an open pit quarry.  Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.  Perform daily pre-trip walk around inspections for safety and maintenance. 

Requirements

• Heavy equipment experience is preferred
• Perform in a production environment with a continuous improvement mindset
• Take ownership in equipment through good housekeeping and maintenance checks
• Load trucks with shot rock or overburden
• Strive to meet daily production goals
• Maintain reliable attendance, meet company standards, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Work will be performed per the supervisor's instruction, and in some cases, will be expected to be performed free from direct supervision without a compromise or sacrifice to safety, and without sacrifice to, quality of work tasks
