RLM Underground was established in 2016 and specializes in underground telecom construction projects throughout the United States. RLM has rapidly grown at staggering rates leading to expanding its construction and operating capabilities into being a full-turnkey telecommunications contractor. Over the years, RLM has expanded its operating region, opening offices in Central Kentucky and Central Illinois while focusing on smaller Telco providers throughout those regions. 

Position Summary:

RLM Underground seeks motivated and experienced Telecom Construction Managers in Florida. The CMs will be responsible for construction sites and employee and crew safety. The CMs must be experienced in underground and aerial telecommunications, construction, and management. The goal is to ensure that all customer needs are being met. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversees construction sites ensure a high level of quality and safety
• Responsible for customer and homeowner relations
• Assists customers and homeowners with complaints and restoration concerns
• Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved documents and procedures
• Ensures that the project is completed in a timely, efficient and safe manner
• Lead and direct ground crews daily
• Develops redline and daily reports
• Responsible for procurement at job sites including straw, seed, cutters, shovels, batteries, tarps, paint, etc.
• Monitors schedule updates
• Maintains cleanliness of job sites, company equipment and vehicles 
• Daily inspections of company vehicles, equipment and job sites

Job Type: Full Time, Direct Hire

• Company truck, fuel card, meal & lodging per diem (in accordance with company policy), tablet computer, and phone stipend are included with the role.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Aerial &/or underground Telecom construction management experience
• Knowledge of construction technology
• Risk assessment/management experience
• Ability to work within administrative policies and procedures
• Leadership Skills, including the ability to work independently and give direction to others as needed
• Effective communication skills, written and verbal
• Bilingual in English & Spanish is a bonus
