About the Role:
The Warehouse Associate I plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our non-durable goods manufacturing facility in Tucker, TUCKR. This position is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and finished products, supporting the overall supply chain process. The associate will contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, which is essential for operational excellence and compliance with safety standards. By collaborating closely with inventory control and production teams, the Warehouse Associate I helps to minimize delays and errors, directly impacting customer satisfaction and company profitability. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to develop their skills in warehouse operations within a dynamic manufacturing setting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math and reading skills to accurately process orders and inventory data.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
- Familiarity with inventory management software or warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Organize and store materials and products in designated locations to optimize space and facilitate easy retrieval.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to move goods within the facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and timely reporting of discrepancies.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in ongoing training to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Skills:
