The Talent Management Intern will primarily support the Talent Acquisition team with recruiting initiatives, and will also contribute to key projects in marketing research aimed at gathering insights and feedback to enhance our intern programs.
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Under the direction of the Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition, Corporate Recruiter, and Marketing Research Manager, the Talent Management Intern plays a vital role in supporting and enhancing the cooperative's recruitment efforts while contributing to market research initiatives. This position provides a comprehensive learning experience, immersing the intern in various aspects of talent management, recruitment strategies, and research to improve intern programs within the agriculture cooperative.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Collaborate with recruiters and Talent Acquisition (TA) team members to support end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate assessment, and communication.

Shadow experienced recruiters during interviews, job fairs, and networking events to gain insights into effective recruitment strategies and candidate evaluation.

Assist in the execution of intern programs, ensuring a meaningful and impactful experience for participants.

Use SurveyMonkey to collect data and feedback from interns, helping drive improvements in recruitment and program effectiveness.

Host focus groups with interns to gather qualitative insights and feedback on program experiences, reporting key findings to stakeholders.

Contribute to the enhancement of recruitment procedures, suggesting innovative ways to streamline and improve the efficiency of our hiring processes.

Contribute to various recruiting projects, such as employer branding initiatives, Applicant Tracking System optimization, and recruitment marketing campaigns.

Gather and interpret data insights that help optimize hiring strategies, improve candidate experience, and make informed decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support talent acquisition and marketing research needs and initiatives.

Contribute to sourcing passive candidates to maximize talent pools, increase diversity, and attract top talent.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be pursuing a human resources, business, or related degree at a 2-year or 4-year college or university in good academic standing at the time the internship begins.

Demonstrates strong interest in talent acquisition, human resources, marketing research, and the agriculture industry.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training, including education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s licen
