Mass General Brigham Orthopedics Walk-in - Peabody NSPG, a member of Mass General Brigham Medical Group, is launching a walk-in, no appointment necessary orthopedic injury clinic at our Peabody location of 4 Centennial Drive, Suite 103!
Our goal is for our trained clinicians to provide expert same-day care through comprehensive evaluation and treatment for orthopedic or sports related injuries to muscles, bones or joints. We also offer radiology services on-site to ensure fast, accurate diagnosis so our patients are on the road to recovery as soon as possible.
Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to join our growing team in this newly established clinic! The MA will ideally support the practice Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. Our practice is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, and we’re looking for candidates who can provide flexible support to the team when needed.Responsibilities include:
-Ensuring efficient patient flow through the office
-Assisting during office visits (rooming, examinations, procedures, and -treatments as directed)
-Performing clinically appropriate tasks related to coordination of care (general patient guidance, test results, prescription refills, etc.)
-Maintaining neat, clean, and safe patient care areas
-Interacting with patients and their families in a professional, friendly manner consistent with their needs
Qualifications
Required:
- High School diploma/GED
- Either BLS or Annual Manikin training including CPR and AED after 6 months of hire
Additional Job Details (if applicable)
Preferred:
- Medical Assistant Course or diploma program or a minimum of 1-year professional experience
- National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT
