Position Summary
The Events Sales and Project Manager will engage hotels to sell and support technology requirements for events hosted at these properties, upselling where appropriate, and coordinate the delivery of services. This role is responsible for client relationship management, event technology planning and execution, and driving growth through sales of services. The ideal candidate will report to one of our offices in either Chicago IL, or Chesterfield MO, however remote candidates will still be considered.
What You’ll Do (Essential Responsibilities)
- Prospect, build, and maintain client relationships; conduct outreach; set meetings; close sales; and identify upselling opportunities to meet or exceed quotas.
- Serve as primary client contact, scope event requirements, manage timelines and milestones, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and oversee end-to-end event execution.
- Handle all client interactions before, during, and after events, including technical questions, billing, status updates, and post-event feedback.
- Maintain accurate sales and project documentation, contracts, client reports, billing events, and lessons learned while ensuring data is properly tracked and filed.
- Develop, document, and refine processes, stay current on technology, oversee equipment logistics, and implement improvements to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications
What You’ll Bring (Required Qualifications)
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in hospitality, telecommunications, or internet services.
- Proven ability to contact, set appointments, and sell to prospects.
- Goal-driven, with persistence to achieve and exceed targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across a fast-paced organization.
- Strong ethical and professional conduct, with a commitment to transparency and integrity.
