We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Financial Planning, Consolidation and Reporting Systems to lead our efforts in managing and enhancing our financial information systems. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in implementing, managing, and optimizing financial consolidation and planning systems, with a strong background in both Oracle on-premise solutions (HFM, FDMEE, Hyperion Planning and Essbase) and cloud-based platforms, particularly Workday Adaptive Planning. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of our financial planning & consolidation processes. The successful candidate will also bring valuable consulting experience along with hands-on experience in the finance departments of large corporations. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong understanding of IT controls and SOX compliance, ensuring that all the related financial systems meet the highest standards of governance and risk management.This position will report to the Global Head of Finance Systems.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead in partnership with the Cushman & Wakefield FP&A and Controllership teams the strategic implementation of planning, consolidation and reporting systems.
Evolve the strategic roadmap of finance systems in the areas of planning, consolidation and reporting (management & external reporting).
Oversee the migration and integration of our on-premise Oracle systems (HFM, Essbase, FDMEE, Hyperion Planning) to cloud-based solutions, with a focus on Workday Adaptive Planning.
Collaborate closely with the Cushman & Wakefield Controllership and FP&A to ensure seamless operation, business processes execution and alignment of financial systems with organizational goals.
Drive the continuous improvement of planning and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Regulatory as well as Cushman&Wakefield standards.
Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget.
Provide expert guidance and leadership in troubleshooting system issues, optimizing performance, and implementing best practices.
Drive the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory standards, including SOX.
Conduct training and support for end-users to maximize the effectiveness and adoption of financial systems.
Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in financial systems, making recommendations for future improvements or implementations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, PMP) are highly desirable.
Proven experience in leading large-scale implementations and system migrations in a corporate environment from on-premise platform to cloud enterprise solutions.
Strong consulting background with a track record of delivering high-impact financial system projects.
Extensive experience working within the finance departments of large corporations, with a deep understanding of financial processes,
