We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader to join Corcentric as an Associate Director, Advisory (Procurement) for our consulting practice. As strategic sourcing consultants and practitioners, we know sourcing and vendor management better than anyone. Our clients supplement their internal teams with our best practices, domain expertise, and market intelligence to proactively budget and plan, secure best in class deals, and optimize the value they receive from their suppliers.

This role may be eligible for voluntary work-from-home consideration. In order to be considered for this position, you should live within a commutable distance to one of these office locations, even if you plan to request a work-from-home arrangement, as there may be times when in-person meetings, training sessions, social events, or similar activities are held onsite.
Associate Directors are responsible for client delivery, operations, strategy, and resource management. In this role, you will establish and proactively manage client relationships and satisfaction by developing best-fit programs and participating in account level strategy and execution. You will participate in a support capacity with sales and revenue generation, as well as marketing to further the growth of Advisory service offerings. You will develop and implement strategies, service offerings, and internal programs that promote continuous improvement for the company. You will have the opportunity to oversee and plan for overall staffing requirements, facilitate training programs, maintain team motivation, and manage productivity and utilization.

As an Associate Director, you’ll be responsible for:
Client Service Delivery:
- Leverage broad and deep category/industry experience and subject matter expertise to uncover business needs, and design and implement innovative solutions.
- Serve as a point of escalation for internal conflicts, risks, and challenges.
- Develop elevated relationships with clients and follow strategic account management structure to enable clients’ business outcomes.
- Define client messaging to generate embedment and enhance client relationships.
- Work with Account Leads and Program Managers to maximize revenue volume and profitability.
Operations:
- Support Advisory sales, directly and in collaboration with internal sales team and partners.
- Conceptualize new service offerings and/or developing strategies to expand current portfolio into new markets.
- Track consulting revenues and costs at the account level, and collaborate with leadership to ensure targets are achieved or exceeded.
- Contribute to company's vision, value proposition, branding, and marketing approach.
- Participate in thought leadership activities such as conferences, speaking engagements, blogs, and other collateral development to support personal development and lead generation through SME demonstration.
Leadership:
- Leverage business acumen for practice development/management, input into accounts and projects, and managing the team.
- Acting as a conduit to senior leadership to deploy strategic growth initiatives and rollout plans to the organization.
- Provide strategic direction towards growth and operation of company areas.
- Support translating business vision and strategy into operational initiatives to build plans, organizational support and infrastructure to achieve them.
Resource Management:
- Oversee a team of direct reports, defines staffing needs, and resource plans for the broader consulting team.
- Guide talent development through input on hiring, onboarding, evaluation, training, and support of the execution of training programs.
- Manage and improve productivity through effective resource and account management.
- Successfully manage the career path of team, facilitating growth to all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with management peers to maintain a lean, diverse and high performing team.
Requirements
You’ll need to have:
- Managing a team of direct reports
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent – preferably in supply chain or a business-related field
- Experience in sourcing, transformation, and/or procurement consulting
