Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all day-to-day management of accounting area for all functions within, including: Procurement Finance, A/P, Fixed Assets, and Month End Close.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
- Coordinates the reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts and ensures that all accounting transactions and journal entries are in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Ensure compliance to the companies accounting policies and procedures (including SOX).
- Monitor actual expenses and assist management in developing, recommending, and implementing corrective action to ensure results of the operations are in line with the operating budget.
- Manage the Budgeting, and Forecasting processes for the NSO Balance Sheet and assigned departments.
- Supervision and development of the Accounting staff.
- Effectively lead Accounting staff in various projects to improve processes, implement controls, and provide optimal service levels to the organization.
- Perform financial analysis and prepare reports that provide detailed cost information to local and corporate management.
- Oversee the month-end processing and reporting related to assigned departments.
- Working with Operations team to create and maintain activity base costing system for assigned departments.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
- 8-10 years of experience in accounting or finance required, CPA preferred.
- Knowledge of GAAP and General Accounting activities required.
- Prior leadership role in budgeting and forecasting required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively depending on the situation.
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment a plus.
- Experience with Oracle preferred.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Capability to work on multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines.
