THE JOB:
The main responsibility of a Poker Floor Supervisor is to manage and respond to the needs of players and guests effectively. This role serves as the primary liaison between guests and all poker services, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING PAY RATE: $20.00 / Per Hour + Tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Serve as a front-line ambassador by warmly greeting guests and managing the table waiting list
- Seat players at tables and make game rulings in accordance with departmental protocols
- Utilize Bravo Poker software for various operational tasks
- Stay updated on all Poker Division activities and events
- Enter player information into the database system and issue MLife cards
- Assist with tournament registration processes
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Two (2) years of prior experience in the Hospitality Industry
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Nevada State Gaming Registration
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Food Handler’s card and Alcohol Awareness card
- Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Four (4) years of Poker or any Hotel/Resort/Casino related experience
- Working knowledge of all currently popular poker games
- Is proficient in rules, policies, and procedures for both live gaming and tournament play
- Able to lead and mentor a team
- Proficiency in fundamental mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handling
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Capable of standing and walking for a majority of the shift
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
