You have a unique opportunity to join the newest marketing department at SAS, the Global Campaign Center (GCC). Formed in 2024, the GCC is a global group of marketers working together to design and execute a full customer journey global campaign strategy that’s activated around the world.
The GCC is comprised of five global marketing teams focused on SAS’ core technology and industries that represent the majority of the company’s revenue. The teams are responsible for finding commonalities across the globe and creating globally relevant campaigns that resonate with a customer or prospect throughout their full customer journey with SAS – from reputation to demand to post-sale engagement.
As an intern with the GCC, you’ll learn from talented, passionate marketers and collaborate with global, cross-functional teams. You’ll have an opportunity to work on the following projects:
- Create bite-sized content from SAS’ flagship event for YouTube, SAS.com and other campaign channels
- Create internal marketing enablement pages to equip SAS’ global community of marketers
- Optimize web pages / channels through reporting and analysis
- Support creation and enablement of post-sale customer engagement channels, including: “Ask the Expert” webinars, new feature updates, quarterly newsletters, and virtual customer connects
- Manage SAS Education social media and campaign calendar and analyze results
Required Qualifications
- You are an undergraduate student studying Marketing, Business Management, Advertising, Digital Media, Marketing Communications, or a related field; not graduating prior to December 2026.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams)
- Experience in one or more of the following: AI Assistants (Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini), Canva, Adobe, Social Media Platforms
- You’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Leadership abilities. Your past experiences demonstrate you’ll take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty.
- You’re interested in the future of data and AI and embrace technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Marketing knowledge and / or a desire to understand more about marketing
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Confidence to ask questions and share ideas – we want to hear your fresh perspective
- Desire to take ownership and deliver high quality work, with guidance and mentoring
- Internship or work experience in a marketing agency or other office work experience would be beneficial
