Job Function

The Accounts Payable Specialist will sit at our Mayfield Ohio site.  The position is Hybrid office/Remote.  This position reports to the Manager of Accounts Payable.

The Accounts Payable Specialist is primarily responsible for the processing of accounts payable transactions from scanning, to invoice entry thru payment of all invoices for the Color Solutions division in North America.  (Includes 3 locations in the US and 1 location in Canada)

Responsibilities

• Scanning, coding, matching and data entry of all invoices for payment.
• Research and resolve accounts payable issues. Including diligent phone call and email follow up with vendors and internal employees.
• Prepares and executes weekly payment runs in SAP.
• Prepares and prints checks when needed.
• Process Wires when needed.
• Reconciliation of vendor statements monthly
• Prepare reports and analysis as requested.
• Reconciliation of general ledger accounts
• Assist outside accountants/auditors as needed.
• Perform all essential functions and projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Accounting or equivalent work experience
• 5+years of experience in accounts payable/Cash Application  operations in an SAP Environment (Preferably S4 Experience)
• Proficient in SAP and MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Excellent Time Management Skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with management, staff, vendors, and outside parties.
• Exhibits teamwork and fosters a working relationship with intra/inter departmental employees.-Excellent Customer Service
• Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic.
• Able to handle highly confidential informat
