We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Tester w/ Montran exp (Onsite Interview in NJ / Banking Domain Exp must) to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

NTT Data has secured a long-term AMS contract from a reputable corporate banking client. We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Functional Tester to join our team in Jersey City, US. It is a hybrid position, with time split between working in Jersey City , NJ office and flexibility to telecommute.

 

This person will be a key member to provide quality assurance testing for corporate banking applications to ensure any business-requested changes are validated prior to handing off to UAT. This person will learn the business as well as understand the testing framework and processes for our applications. Required to draw on testing knowledge to creatively develop solutions for automating test processes as well as design maintenance procedures and documentation. Within this team, there is an open and collaborative approach to work on solutions for applications and workflow processes. Additionally, this person will be required to automate any repetitive steps in a workflow process or application to provide the highest quality for our technology and business and will be required to meet those standards and prove your ability to provide the best test capabilities.

 

Role Objectives

• Lead initiatives for automation of post validation tests
• Lead initiatives for automation of regression testing
• Develop and enhance QA test processes to reduce the number of production incidents
• Prioritize and develop enhancements to continuously improve application stability and scalability in post-production phase of application projects. 
• Maintain communication workstreams between developers, business analysts, and sponsor stakeholder teams
• Help drive quality and effectiveness of risk automation controls established by business and process application owners 
• Conduct reviews of applications and workflow processes to target automation effectiveness. 
• Produce high quality user test scripts for multiple applications and workflow procedures that need automation
• Understand business processes and contribute in designing suitable framework
• Train and educate junior team members on QA processes and System architecture.

 

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with 7 to 9 years of experience.

• 7+ years of Experience working in corporate banking domain/applications is a must.
• 7+ years of Performing functional and UAT testing of payment processing software applications
• 7+ years of Developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies; conduct requirement analysis. UAT Testcase design and execution , and defect management
• 7+ years of Developing and maintaining re-usable regression; developing and executing SQL Scripts for database migration testing
• 7+ years of knowledge in applying different SDLC Methodologies like Waterfall and Agile (Scrum)
• 7+ years of  knowledge in different payment processing systems (including SWIFT, CHIPS, ACH and FEDWIRE) 
• 7+ years of Working with payment processing tools Global PayPlus (GPP) and Montran 
• 7+ years of Experience in FinTech Testing, Working with Payments (Swift - MT, MX messages formats), Securities messages.
