Note: This is a remote position but applicants located in the eastern time zone are highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- As a Forescout Engineer/Network Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in setting up, operating, optimizing, and maintaining Forescout installations for our customers
- Collaborate with clients to understand their unique requirements and provide expert advice on Forescout and other Network Security solutions
- Perform administrative tasks such as configuring policies, rules, and system settings within the Forescout platform
- Monitor and analyze network traffic, identifying potential security risks or vulnerabilities
- Conduct regular assessments / health checks of Forescout deployments to ensure optimal performance and adherence to cybersecurity standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Forescout deployments in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments in Forescout technology
- Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our Northeast regions Network Security practice
- Contribute to other areas of the Network Security practice as needed
Required Experience:
- Proven experience working as a Forescout Engineer / Network Securit Engineer, with a strong understanding of Forescout deployments, operations, and maintenance
- Proficiency in administering Forescout technologies, including policy creation, network segmentation, and integration with other security tools
- Knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching technologies
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
- Forescout certifications preferred (FSCE, FSCP, FSCA)
- Must also have experience in other areas of Network Security: SASE technology implementation/management of Zscaler, Palo Alto, Netskope, iBoss, or Broadcom, or similar; Firewall implementation/management experience with Palo Alto, Check Point, or Fortigate; SDWAN
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
