Job Summary: Duties include cleaning/set-up of production areas/equipment for daily use.

High school diploma or GED preferred

Key Areas of Responsibility
I.
Safety:
1. Understand the safety risks associated with job.

1. Comply with all FDA rules, procedures and work practices.
2. Follow all Nestle and GMP procedures.
IV.
Operations:
- Clean/sanitize production areas and/or equipment in assigned work areas (e.g. meat room, forming equipment, oven room, pan room, extruders, CIP, incinerator dock, etc) on midshift and/or final clean-up basis.
- Prepare/set-up production areas and/or equipment in assigned work areas for next day’s production use.
- Clean/prepare entire assigned work area for production use. This includes: walls, floors, ceilings, drain baskets, overhead structures, etc.
- Remove condensation from overhead structures prior to release of production area for use.
- Report any mechanical problems, equipment breakdowns and/or scheduled release time delays to team leader.
- Utilize chemicals and/or cleaning equipment according to specific procedures. Report any equipment shortages/ failures and/or chemical needs to team leader.
- Inspect production equipment/areas for proper cleanliness, assignment/assembly of equipment, and availability of area at scheduled start-up time. Report any discrepancies to supervisor. Correct any cleaning errors as identified.
- Resolve any cleaning/set-up conflicts and/or problems, as identified by USDA/QA/maintenance/production/production supply/etc.
