Interventional Psychiatry Technician Supervisor

The Interventional Psychiatry Technician Supervisor (supporting our Los Angeles and San Diego locations) oversees the daily operations and workflow of the Interventional Psychiatry Technician team, with a focus on TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) and esketamine treatments. This role includes supervising, training, and evaluating technicians, as well as managing related administrative tasks. Working under the guidance of the Interventional Psychiatry Program Manager and Interventional Psychiatry Director, the supervisor ensures high-quality patient care, compliance with clinical protocols, and efficient team performance.

Responsibilities

Supervision & Leadership:

• Oversee daily operations of TMS and esketamine treatments across assigned offices.
• Lead, mentor, and manage performance of Interventional Psychiatry Technician team.
• Hire, train, and coach staff while maintaining adherence to policies and a positive work environment.
• Up to 50% travel as needed.

Clinical & Operational Management:

• Support technicians with clinical duties, including TMS and esketamine treatment administration, to ensure safe and compassionate care.
• Implement emergency procedures and manage provider schedules.
• Monitor and approve timekeeping and payroll for the technician staff.
• With the operations supervisor, resolve complex patient situations, including escalated complaints, patient terminations, and office incident reporting.

Communication & Collaboration:

• Maintain open communication across teams to ensure aligned patient care standards.
• Coordinate staff schedules and shift coverage; provide feedback to leadership on improvements and staff relations.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

• Conduct audits on treatments, records, and equipment for regulatory compliance.
• Lead and support quality improvement initiatives to enhance care and efficiency.

Staff Development & Continuing Education:

• Encourage professional growth through ongoing training and development.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and collaborate on staff training programs.
• Collaborate with the Program Director to develop and implement training programs for new hires and ongoing staff education

Technology & Equipment Management:

• Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, and functionality of all TMS and esketamine equipment.
• Coordinate technology upgrades and maintain detailed equipment records.

Administrative Duties:

• Manage regional budgets and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations with guidance from the Program Director.
• Support clinical operations as needed, including direct patient care.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supervising or leading teams.
• 1+ year of demonstrated customer service skills within a healthcare setting preferred.
• 2+ years of recent TMS experience.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• TMS Certification required or ability to be recertified within 30 days of hire.
• Experience working with patients who are suffering from anxiety and depression preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word); multiline phone experience; accurate typing/data entry skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, management, staff, and other customers. 
• Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of all personal/health sensitive information. 

This is an exempt position with a pay range of $70,000 to $73,000 per year. We offer full benefits (medical, dental, vision), paid time off, holiday pay, 401k, tuition reimbursement, paid parental leave, and more.
