What You’ll Do:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist prepares, analyses, and processes customer billing adjustments by performing the assigned duties.
• Processes cash applications from lockbox, ACH and manual postings
• Calculates payoff quotes for customers upon request
• Assists in editing FCAP sponsor invoices
• Reviews trends to ensure accuracy, efficiency and consistency
• Calculates quarterly incentives due to sponsors based on current agreement
• Provides resolution to high volume client inquiries in a timely manner
• Demonstrates excellent customer service
• Understands contracted services related to customer contracts and amendments
• Assists with identifying special pricing and programs as necessary
• Evaluates and understands different products for efficient and accurate billing
• Evaluates and understands support services for efficient and accurate billing
• Evaluates and understands transaction types for efficient and accurate billing
• Identifies unrelated billing items
• Explains purpose of apparently unrelated billing items to customers
• Maintains strong knowledge of contracts, products and services for billing
• Assists in month end closing
• Performs special projects and/or other duties as assigned
• Maintains the general ledger and supporting records for the company
• Follows company policy and procedures, which include proper documentation, review of data for accuracy, and adherence with all accounting controls.
• Produces a high caliber of work with a minimal error rate

Required Qualifications:
• Associate degree in business or accounting.
• Minimum of two (2) years-experience in accounts receivables.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, self-motivated, excellent interpersonal skills, strong teamwork skills, time management, detail oriented, examines work for accuracy and neatness, ability to multi task, and to follow through and meet deadlines, strong analytical and organizational skills, including solid knowledge of relevant computer applications, intermediate excel skills, dependable and reliable.

Compensation:
• $28.50 hr.
