Our goal at SeaQuest is to ensure guests have a one-of-a-kind experience interacting with animals from all over the world. SeaQuest is looking for a Safari Team Member who will enhance the guest experience by creating a warm, inviting, and world-class environment throughout the facility. We are seeking team members with a passion for key performance indicator sales-driven results and significant commission opportunities. With proven sales experience, this position has the potential for bonus pay that's equal to or greater than the hourly pay rate. Safari Team Members are responsible for assisting guests and reporting directly to the Safari Team Manager. Responsibilities:

Provides world-class animal interactions for our guests

Offer specials promoted by SeaQuest

Assist customers with selecting merchandise in the gift shop

Help with gift shop inventory

Ensure store visual merchandising and presentation standards are implemented

Up-sell products and activities to elevate the guest experience

Encourage guests to leave reviews

Required to work with animals

Cleaning (wherever asked to)

Conduct Field Trips with Guest audiences

Requirements

Experience in a retail environment

A theme park, zoo, science center, or attraction background preferred

Ability to communicate and interact effectively

Cheerful, positive attitude with a willingness to be a team player

Register and cash handling experience

Experience with animals a plus
