Role Summary
In New Business at National Life, our teams are critical to our service excellence. Each new application is reviewed and processed through these teams.
As a Life Quality Advisor, you will be responsible for reviewing application handling to ensure Case Manager adherence to best practices, and state regulations all in efforts to support an efficient positive experience for our agents. Auditors play a key role in identifying knowledge gaps, recommending additional trainings and root cause solutioning.
Successful Auditors have a strong attention to detail and the ability to investigate cases and follow the flow of an application through multiple operating systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review pending policies throughout their life cycle, checking for best practices, procedural and regulatory handling
- Record findings in a central database for trend analysis
- Meet minimum production expectations
- Identify and communicate patterns and trends in new business data while offering solutions to business processes that can improve case experience, accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on root cause solutioning for larger scale deviations in processing as needed
- Maintain processing knowledge including process changes, regulatory updates and system enhancements
- Act as an onsite New Business liaison for routine internal / external audits, facilitating material retrieval, access and training and reviewing result to ensure compliance with regulating bodies.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ Years of Experience in Case Management or Auditing role

Preferred Qualifications
- College degree in Business Administration or related field
- LOMA designations

The base compensation range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
Other rewards may include an annual bonus, quarterly bonuses, commissions, and other long-term incentive compensation, depending on the position. National Life offers a competitive total rewards package which includes: a 401(k) retirement plan match; medical, dental, and vision insurance; a company funded wellness account for director and below employees; 10 paid holidays; a generous paid time off plan (22 days of combined time-off for non-exempt employees and exempt employees have discretion in managing their time, including scheduling time off in the normal course of business, but in no event will exempt employees receive less sick time than required by state or local law); 6 weeks of paid parental leave; and 6 weeks of paid family leave after a year of full-time employment.
