Guest Arrival Ambassador (Shuttle Driver)

What you get to do:

  • Provide safe and courteous transportation for ambassadors
  • Maintain quality appearance of vehicles driven both interior and exterior and fuel vehicle when needed
  • Inspect shuttle both interior and exterior at the beginning/end of each shift for proper operation (heating and cooling systems, brakes, lighting systems, etc.)
  • Perform all functions and/or tasks listed on shift schedules and by management
  • Establish and maintain a positive atmosphere which ensures the highest level of team member performance and guest service while enforcing and complying with fleet safety procedures and guidelines
  • Consistently practice safe work habits including, but not limited to use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations
  • Greet and interact with guests through their arrival and departure
  • Answer questions and resolve guest issues
  • Advise guests on show times and attraction information
  • Facilitate an organized guest traffic flow
  • Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas
  • Sell admission and in-park ancillary products to upgrade our guests experience
  • Perform other duties as assigned


What it takes to succeed:

  • Willingness to drive in all weather conditions
  • A least six months of experience in driving minimum of ten passenger vehicle preferred but not required
  • A passion for customer service  
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Active listener with the ability to anticipate concerns  
  • Flexibility to perform varied duties

What else is important:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have weekend and weekday availability from 4:30am - 2:30am
  • Perform cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicals 
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat and cold temperatures
  • Potential to perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing) 
  • Strong English language communication skills
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Excellent multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to train on and properly use protective equipment
  • Ability to stand for entire shift
  • Ability to push/pull up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to accurately handle cash and learn/use point of sale system
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Previous guest service experience preferred
  • Bilingual skills
  • Basic math skills desired
