Job Description Summary

Reporting to the Executive Director of Annual Giving and Special Gifts, The Director designs and manages all systems for constituent data, (including PHI data,) collection, management, and analysis for Penn Medicine’s Health System Annual Giving fundraising programs.

The Director will work with the Executive Director and UPenn and UPHS IT administrators and approved vendors to design and manage systems for patient and constituent data collection and storage for solicitation activities across the health system.

Supports the Executive Director in strategic planning and implementing outreach and analysis on fundraising activities for all health system annual funds.

Lead the design, planning, and coordination of all data analysis and reporting programs for the health system annual funds.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for strategic planning, design, and management of all and systems for data collection across the Penn Medicine Health System for use in outreach and fundraising activities with special emphasis on maintaining security on biographical and PHI data.
  • Directly responsible for all components of patient and constituent data collection, coding, and preparation for usage in outreach and fundraising programs across the system, including direct and indirect solicitation efforts, email, social media, web-based tools, frontline solicitations, and events.
  • Oversee design and analysis of testing, scheduling, dynamic content management, and reporting to further advance fundraising efforts.
  • Manage all UPenn IT, UPHS IT, and vendor relationships in conjunction with data management, reporting, and analysis.
