Job Description Summary

Plans and conducts basic experiments to meet research project objectives, with close supervision. Assists in performing laboratory experiments and clinical studies for product or material formulation and development. Daily management of laboratory tools, documentations and processes to ensure regulatory compliance and timely completion of project/program deliverables.

Position is contingent upon continued funding

Job Responsibilities

  • Plans and conducts basic experiments to meet research project objectives, with close supervision. Assists in performing laboratory experiments and clinical studies for product or material formulation and development. Daily management of laboratory tools, documentations and processes to ensure regulatory compliance and timely completion of project/program deliverables. The position requires excellent interpersonal skills for conducting experiments with in vivo testing on animal models. Electromechanical prototyping abilities (including computer-aided design, 3D printing, laser cutting, and PCB design) and scientific programming (MATLAB, Python) are preferred but not required.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's + 0-1 year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Drive a research project (collect, analyze and interpret data, and present data at group meetings)
  • Help in the general running of the lab, including: documentation and maintaining lab organization
  • Conduct inventory and help in purchasing
  • Support lab members in conducting experiments
  • Support in implenting protocol renewals
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
